I’m constantly striving to learn and hone my craft, driven by a commitment not only to quality, but curiosity. I seek out new ways to confront similar challenges, and treat each project as a chance to try something different than I have before.
I’ve had the pleasure of creating original scores for short films, arranging strings for independent artists, and contributing to orchestral performances at venues such as The Grand Ole Opry and Carnegie Hall. These experiences have been deeply meaningful, and I’m so grateful to have gotten the chance to contribute to them.
My background as a pianist, in both Jazz and Classical contexts, influences my compositions and arrangements with an emphasis on contrapuntal movement and emotive harmonic choices. I make each part of my work serve a project’s intent and purpose with detail and care.
Some of my primary inspirations are Joe Hisaishi, Austin Wintory, Michael Giacchino, Disasterpeace, Olafur Arnalds, Rob Moose and Maurice Ravel, to name a few.
