Curiosity drives my approach to making music. I work to serve each project with inventive solutions to challenges.
I have scored films such as (“The Legend of Bill” & “Lemon-Aid,” etc), arranged strings for independent artists (“Love Lives Here,” etc), recorded in studios such as Sound Emporium and Ocean Way, and orchestrated for performances and sessions (“The Birth of a King” & “The Resurrection of a King,” etc).
Additionally, I compose original work with diverse instrumentation (“Onward” & “Unattached”).
My background as a pianist, in both Jazz and Classical contexts, influences my compositions and arrangements with an emphasis on contrapuntal movement and emotive harmonic choices. I make each part of my work serve a project’s intent and purpose with detail and care.
Some of my primary inspirations are Joe Hisaishi, Austin Wintory, Michael Giacchino, Disasterpeace, Olafur Arnalds, Rob Moose and Maurice Ravel, to name a few.
