One of the most unique and special projects I’ve been a part of up until this point, Love Lives Here explores themes of grief and love through spoken word and song. Only strings dress the backdrop of Wesley’s voice and lyrics. The arranging process for this was unlike any I’ve done before. I received no chart, no track, only a single vocal stem and a key (which I sometimes ignored). Every song on this project was harmonized and arranged by myself, with input from both Wesley Butler and Logan Weatherly. The spoken word interludes were improvised the day of recording by us 3. This project has been over a year in the making, from conceptualization, to writing, to arranging, to recording, to mixing, mastering and now release. Much was poured into this by everyone involved, and we hope you enjoy it.
